Privacy Policy
Effective date: August 15, 2026
House Project is a household home tracker for iPhone, iPad, and Mac — projects, rooms, paint, appliances, and electrical. This policy explains what we collect, who can see it, and how to delete it.
Questions: use Settings in the House Project app, or the support page.
What we collect
To run your account we collect:
- Email address
- Display name
- A user ID created when you sign up
You may also add content in the app, including:
- Projects, tasks, tags, and links
- Rooms, paint, appliances, and electrical records
- Materials lists and quotes
- Budgets and spending
- Photos, receipts, and manuals you upload
We do not sell your data, show ads, or track you across other apps or websites.
How it is stored and who can see it
Account sign-in, your household data, and uploaded files are stored on Supabase (authentication, database, and file storage).
Projects are shared only inside your household. Other members of that household can see each other’s display names and email addresses, and can see the projects, notes, tasks, budgets, spending, and files that belong to the household.
We do not make your household content public.
Account deletion
You can delete your account in the app: Settings → Delete Account.
If you are the only member of the household, deleting your account also deletes that household’s projects and files.
If other members remain, your account is removed and the household’s content stays with the remaining members. The last owner cannot leave while other members are still in the household.
